Where you stay shapes your trip as much as what you see and do. On my travels, I’ve stayed everywhere—from family-run guesthouses with warm, personal touches to luxury hotels with views I still dream about. I choose hotels that fit the pace and purpose of my journey, whether it’s a city break with easy access to markets and cafes, a beachfront escape steps from the water, or a quiet retreat where I can write and recharge. Every hotel I share here has been part of my story, offering comfort, connection, and a sense of place that lingers long after checkout.

It’s near everything you’d need for the weekend and best of it all it costs $59 per night and came with free coffee and a view.
