The Grande Centre Point Hotel: Where to Stay in Bangkok, Thailand

Grande Centre Point Hotel in Bangkok

We have stayed at really nice hotels all around the world. And the hotel we selected in Bangkok is definitely one of them. The Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri Bangkok is a 5-star hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Great shopping, cutting-edge restaurants, and Buddhist temples surround it. There’s plenty of things to do in Bangkok.

Why You Should Stay at the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri

5 Stars in Central Bangkok

We arrived in the middle of the night. And as a courtesy, we were upgraded to a suite, which is always nice, right? The location is excellent, with a short walking distance to two BTS lines: Chit Lom on the Sukhumvit line and Ratchadamri on the Silom line.

The rooms at the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri are beautiful– very homey. When we walked in we were blown away with the room and the view outside. They have real hardwood floors, marble countertops, a full kitchen, and a full-size refrigerator. There’s even a washing machine n detergent is provided daily. And the kitchen was equipped with plates, pots and pans and casserole dishes, glasses, cups, wine glasses, corkscrews, you name it. In addition, there was a microwave, coffee maker and toaster.

The Bedroom

Separated by floor-to-ceiling shutters, the bedroom was large, even with a king-size bed and more pillows than I’d ever need. There was a beautiful mahogany desk, two nights stands, and a TV console with a big flat screen atop it and a CD/DVD player below it.

Around the corner was a vanity desk, safe, floor-to-ceiling mirror, and one of the most enormous bathrooms I had ever seen in a hotel room PERIOD. With tons of storage, universal power plugs, plantation shutters, and personal amenities. I had no intention of cooking, but we used the microwave daily, and I washed two loads of clothing with the supplied laundry detergent.

The Amenities and Facilities

I haven’t even mentioned the breakfast, which was included in our rate. The breakfast was massive. Eggs, waffles, french toast, omelets, bacon, fruits, salads, and pastries. I also enjoyed Asian delights like pho and stuff I do no know about. It was served from 6 am to 10:30 am. That’s amazing in itself because we didn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to eat breakfast. 24-hour room service and coffee service in the lobby filled in the gaps.

There was a beautiful pool with a view. Additionally, the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri offers FREE WI-FI, a library, and a movie room. In addition, there is a state-of-the-art gym. In addition, a restaurant and coffee shop is providing 24-hour service. The concierge desk was VERY, VERY helpful with directions, recommendations, and arranging transportation. And although I didn’t use the spa & wellness center, it is extremely beautiful and offers a wide array of services.

The Location and Cost

The Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri is ideally located. It’s on a side street just off Ratchadamri Road with access to the sky train (metro). And the biggest shopping center, Central World, is just around the block. Additionally, there are tons of street vendors and restaurants in the area. Ultimately, we loved every moment of our stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat if we went back to Bangkok.

Our 4-night stay at the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri cost $423. They placed a hold for an additional $100 security deposit, which was returned to us at checkout.

It was one of the nicest ones we’d stayed in for the price. I’d definitely recommend it and stay they again in the future.
