Staying at Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri: What You Need to Know Before You Book Posted on July 8, 2016November 15, 2025 Getting your Trinity Audio player ready... We’ve stayed at incredible hotels worldwide, and the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri in Bangkok ranks among the best. We stayed at this hotel because it is a 5-star hotel just steps from Bangkok’s top attractions. Each day, we shopped at luxury boutiques, sampled yummy street food, and wandered through peaceful temple courtyards. The city buzzed around us, and the hotel allowed us to be at the center of it all. Why You Should Stay at the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri 5 Stars in Central Bangkok We arrived in the middle of the night, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary suite upgrade. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, just a short walk from two BTS stations—Chit Lom on the Sukhumvit line and Ratchadamri on the Silom line—making it easy to explore the city. The rooms at the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri are beautiful– very homey. We walked in and immediately felt amazed by the room and the view outside. They have real hardwood floors, marble countertops, a full kitchen, and a full-size refrigerator. There’s even a washing machine and detergent is provided daily. And the kitchen was equipped with plates, pots and pans and casserole dishes, cups, wine glasses, corkscrews, you name it. In addition, there was a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The Bedroom Separated by floor-to-ceiling shutters, the bedroom felt spacious, even with a king-size bed piled high with pillows. The adjoining sitting area was perfect for morning coffee or unwinding with a book. A mahogany desk, two nightstands, and a TV console with a large flat-screen and CD/DVD player completed the space. A plush armchair added a cozy touch, positioned just right for relaxed viewing. Around the corner was a vanity desk, safe, floor-to-ceiling mirror, and one of the most enormous bathrooms I had ever seen in a hotel room, period. It had tons of storage, universal power plugs, plantation shutters, and personal amenities. Soft, natural light filled the space and created a calm, elegant atmosphere. However, I had no intention of cooking, but we used the microwave daily, and I washed two loads of clothing with the supplied laundry detergent. The Amenities and Facilities Breakfast, included in our rate, was a feast. Options ranged from eggs, waffles, and omelets to fresh fruit, salads, and pastries. I also enjoyed Asian specialties like pho and a few dishes I couldn’t name but thoroughly enjoyed. Served from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., it allowed for leisurely mornings. For convenience, 24-hour room service and complimentary coffee in the lobby ensured we never had a pick-me-up. The hotel boasts a stunning pool with a city view, free Wi-Fi, a library, and a movie room. A state-of-the-art gym, a 24-hour restaurant, and a coffee shop add to the convenience. The concierge team was exceptional—eager to help with directions, recommendations, and transportation arrangements. While I didn’t use the spa, it was beautifully designed and offered an impressive range of treatments. The Location and Cost The Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri is perfectly situated on a quiet side street off Ratchadamri Road, just steps from the BTS Skytrain. CentralWorld, Bangkok’s largest shopping mall, is a short walk away, along with countless street vendors and restaurants. Our stay was seamless, and we’d book this hotel again without hesitation. Our 4-night stay at the Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri cost $423. The front desk placed a $100 hold for the security deposit and refunded it at checkout. Like it? Pin it! It was one of the nicest ones we’d stayed in for the price. I’d definitely recommend it and stay they again in the future. Loading... Reply
