Mediterranean Atmosphere
Looking for a sweet dessert cafe with breathtaking views? Look no further than Cafe Santorini Village, a hidden jewel located on a big hill with 360-degree sweeping views of the valley. On a clear day, you can see for miles. Gyeongsan is home to beautiful cafes with scenic views, creative desserts, and warm, inviting interiors perfect for lingering. And if you squint just right, you can imagine being surrounded by the cool blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Two Indoor Seating Areas to Choose From
The main building at Cafe Santorini Village has spacious seating with comfortable chairs and tables, but the real star of the show is the stunning view from the terrace. You can enjoy your dessert while taking in the panoramic vista, making for a truly unforgettable experience.

The auxiliary building is a little less cozy, with bar seating that wraps around the windows. However, it still offers a pretty view that is just as breathtaking. The ambiance in both buildings is warm and inviting, making for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. And if you visit Cafe Santorini Village in the spring, the entire area is covered in olive, azaleas, and cherry blossom trees, adding to the already stunning scenery.
Menu Offerings
I was hoping for something reminiscent of my days in Greece along the Mediterranean. But alas, that wasn’t to be the case. I wonder what would happen if they truly committed to the theme and incorporated some Greek-inspired desserts into their menu. After all, it’s not as though there’s a shortage of honey, figs, nuts, or olive oil. From fig tarts and Mediterranean pizzas to pastries layered with filo. I’ve spotted these delights in other establishments, so why not here?
If I had a complaint, that’s it. Unfortunately, many of these cafes go for imitation instead of authenticity. Greek cuisine has a robust depth and variety that is often reduced to a few cliché elements in these types of settings. It would be far more fulfilling to see a true Greek dessert spread, complete with authentic baklava, loukoumades, and galaktoboureko, rather than simply adding a twist to more familiar pastries.
Nonetheless, there were a few tasty treats to choose from. We are going to dinner after we leave the cafe, so we decided to share something. The carrot cake looked really good. It turned out to be a good choice because it was yummy.

So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning scenery with a sweet treat in hand at Cafe Santorini Village.

I would definitely come back to Cafe Santorini Village– especially in the Fall or Spring when the valley floor changes colors. Overall, if you’re looking for a cafe that will leave you in awe, look no further than this hilltop gem. The views alone are worth the visit.
