You may not even notice it, but the cafe is located on an island. Its sprawling structure harmoniously merges with the surrounding landscape, creating a captivating blend of nature and design. As you step inside, the predominantly minimalistic and white interior welcomes you with a sense of tranquility and modernity. The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the space, offering panoramic vistas of the breathtaking scenery.
Inside the cafe, four floors boast abundant seating, with most offering uninterrupted vistas of the ocean. However, it is the lower level that presents a stark contrast to the light and airy ambiance found on the other floors. Here, you’ll discover a dark, low-lit forest accompanied by a mirror gallery, transporting you to a realm of enchantment and mystery. The interplay of light and shadows in this unique space provides ample opportunities for capturing extraordinary pictures that are sure to impress your social media followers.
Gazing upwards, the recessed lighting resembles stars nestled in the high ceilings. A small skylight reveals the ever-changing hues of the sky above.

Upon entering Cafe Moi Fin, the journey begins on the third floor. While three kiosks eagerly await your order, we recommend first finding a seat to secure your place in this bustling establishment. From the moment it opens until closing time, the cafe exudes an energetic ambiance. With four levels of seating available, each offering unobstructed views of the vast ocean, there is no shortage of options. For an unparalleled experience, venture to the 360-degree rooftop, where you’ll be treated to a front-row seat to an awe-inspiring seascape that stretches as far as the eye can see. Alternatively, you can descend the hillside and find solace under one of the covered benches, allowing the symphony of crashing waves to serenade you.
Unveiling Artistry and Natural Splendor
The lower floor boasts raw, unpainted concrete, adding an industrial touch to the overall aesthetic. As you traverse through the cafe’s levels, you’ll be captivated by the geometric shapes formed by the stairs, showcasing the artful composition of the space. It also has a huge seating area in the forests and a pretty mirror gallery– the rage for all your Instagram feeds.

Embarking on an exploration of Cafe Moi Fin reveals a world that extends far beyond its remarkable architecture. I love when cafes incorporate nature. And one of the current trends is to create lush gardens with pathways, water features, and trails. Moi Fin’s gardens are beautiful. The trails are steep but short. And you can’t get a nicer water feature than the ocean.
Take a stroll and get rewarded owith stunning vistas that encompass both the majestic ocean and the cafe itself. As you meander along the short path, protected by a burlap-covered surface that ensures cleanliness, immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of the extensive garden. Marvel at the sight of blooming flowers and flourishing trees that grace the surroundings, transforming the area into a veritable picturesque oasis.
Find solace under an umbrella. Then savor a refreshing iced coffee or lemonade while observing the steely blue waters crashing against the shoreline. Alternatively, indulge in a short stroll to the overlook. There are thoughtfully positioned chairs under the shade of a few trees, allowing you to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery.
Food Offerings
ho even remembers the food? We had already eaten lunch by the time we visited the cafe. So we ordered a couple of desserts at the kiosk at the entrance of the cafe. Cafe Moi Fin enthralls visitors with its architectural marvels and serene views. It also delights the palate with a wide array of pastry items. From delectable coffees and non-coffee drinks to mouthwatering sweet treats, there are a lot of desserts to choose from.
Practical Information
There are a couple of additional Moi Fin Cafes in the works. Keep a look out for Moi Fin Sky and Moi Fin Ocean in the near future. Both cafes give me a great reason to return to Yeosu.
Cafe Moi Fin is located at 1273-5 Pyeongsa-ri, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. The cafe operates from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. It offers free Wi-Fi, outdoor seating, and takeout services. It’s advisable to check the hours of operation prior to your visit. Unfortunately, public transportation is not available to this hotspot.
