Cafe Poseidon & Stay Attention Camp Carroll residents, you’re in for a treat because there’s a fantastic new cafe just a stone’s throw away from your base. The Poseidon Cafe is a delightful three-story establishment situated near the Farmy Hills Country Club, right off the picturesque Maewon Reservoir in Waegwan. Not only do you get to enjoy Cafe Poseidon’s wonderful offerings, but you also have the added bonus of being less than a 10-minute drive away from Camp Carroll. So, whether you’re looking for a relaxing spot to unwind after a long day or a place to hang out with friends. Similar to Suseong Lake, a reservoir in Daegu, the cafe’s surroundings are filled with the joyful sounds of people enjoying various water attractions. From where I am, I can hear the laughter of kids splashing and having fun in a large pool across the lake, relishing the refreshing water. It’s so tempting to join them, especially since it’s scorching hot outside. As soon as you step in, you’ll be welcomed by a replica of Poseidon’s trident, sans Jason Mamoa! The trident is also featured in their logo, cups and, plates. It’s nice to see that they use real glasses, plates, and silverware, adding to the pleasant experience. https://www.buymeacoffee.com/duffelbagspouse The cafe’s interior features white walls and wooden furniture, creating a natural and comfortable ambiance. Despite having various colored chairs and sofas, the color palette reflects the soothing tones of the sea. It is fitting for a cafe named after Poseidon. Additionally, I appreciated that the seating was well spaced apart, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed setting. https://duffelbagspouse.com/cafes-in-ulsan-coffee-trail The View Outside Cafe Poseidon & Stay In pleasant weather, the front window of the cafe opens up like an accordion. It gives you a beautiful view of the reservoir. The garden and rooftop are huge, providing fantastic seating options when the temperature isn’t scorching at 100 degrees. However, keep in mind that the grounds are still being worked on. You might notice patches of sod in the grass. The lawn at Cafe Poseidon is a mix of mature shade and evergreen trees, along with striking bamboo trees. At the back, there’s a soothing babbling brook, and you’ll find scattered patio seating throughout the property. The Bakery Unfortunately, Cafe Poseidon & Stay was the second cafe we visited, and the options were limited. However, we still managed to have a good time with an Americano and a non-alcoholic strawberry mojito. We also treated ourselves to two delicious sweet treats: a lemon croissant and a strawberry creme bomb. They were all tasty and just what we needed in the hot weather. I couldn’t help but think that on a cold day, the creme Brule latte would be the perfect choice to warm me up. Dalgona to Citrus Tea: Must Try Cafe Drinks Parking & Busy Weekends I enjoy receiving invitations to check out new cafes and attend grand openings. But keep in mind that these events usually attract a large crowd. Cafe Poseidon has a big parking lot, but it’s currently unpaved. So, if you plan to visit on the weekend, there might not be enough parking space available. Thankfully, they have a parking attendant to help with organization. Since it’s a new cafe and quite spacious, it’s bound to draw a lot of people. The cafe is open from 1000-2000 daily. Like it? Pin it!
