A Beautiful Cafe in Chiang Mai with Waterfalls I’ve always had a soft spot for cafes near waterfalls, but Angel Cafe at Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park takes the experience to another level. While Chiang Mai is known for its stunning natural waterfalls, this park offers something different—man-made waterfalls that are just as mesmerizing. Located along our route to Mon Jam, Angel Cafe is a picturesque stop and one of the best cafes with waterfalls in Chiang Mai. This unique spot blends nature with creativity, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the area. Pin it! Why Should You Visit Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park? Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park, built in 2018, combines nature with creativity. The park has two large man-made waterfalls, beautiful gardens, and angel statues that create a peaceful vibe. At the center of the park is Angel Cafe, one of the top nature-themed cafes in Chiang Mai, where you can enjoy coffee while taking in the waterfall views. The park’s calm atmosphere and unique features make it one of the best cafes with waterfalls in Chiang Mai, offering a relaxing escape from the city. The Entrance Fee at Dantewada Land of Angels Water Park Entering the water park costs 80 Baht per person. This is a fantastic deal for Thai citizens because they can get in for free. I think it’s a smart move. Wages in Thailand are relatively low, so the government covers the entire entrance fee for its citizens. As tourists, we foot the bill to make these attractions accessible. Some people complain about the higher prices for tourists, but honestly, if you can’t spare 80 Baht (just $2.25) for a fun vacation day, you should probably consider a staycation instead. The entrance fee at Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park doesn’t go toward a drink purchase at the park’s cafe. A True Hidden Gem This park is a favorite among locals, thanks to its angel sculptures and hidden caves that add a bit of mystery. I think it might be the best waterfall cafe in Thailand. However, the man-made waterfalls are so well-crafted that they look natural next to the lush gardens. The park is thoughtfully designed. It encourages visitors to explore and find something new each time, making it much more than a regular tourist spot. We were the only foreigners in the park, so I’m introducing you to a hidden gem off the beaten path. Angel Cafe at Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park Angel Cafe is located near the entrance to the water park. We didn’t go there right away because it seemed like rain was on the way, and I wanted to explore the park first. When we eventually returned, we took a seat and enjoyed some drinks and a few snacks. The cafe’s interior is playful and colorful, adorned with paintings of angels and mystical creatures, in line with its name. Although we didn’t eat lunch in Angel Cafe, you can find ice cream, coffee, desserts, and several local dishes on the menu. The sound is quite captivating. You can follow the stream over the paved pathway to reach the first significant waterfall, beautifully framed by a stone and boulder picture frame. It is a beautiful cafe in Chiang Mai to enjoy nature and tranquility. Keep walking past the waterfall to the clearing behind it. Climb the platform to get a great aerial view of the colorful flowers and the rest of the park. There is a small pen with rabbits. My friend Suwat bought me carrots to feed them. And, although they were so cute, they completely ruined my white canvas sneakers.
