Whether you’re a local or a visitor, these five activities showcase what the Quad Cities offer, promising memorable moments and unique experiences. There’s always something exciting to discover, from picturesque riverfront parks to cozy indoor attractions. Here are five activities you shouldn’t miss. The section through Bettendorf and Moline offers beautiful riverfront parks, picnic spots, and historic sites. It’s an excellent way to enjoy the outdoors while exploring the area. Discover Local History at the Rock Island Arsenal Museum Combine a walk with a dose of history at the Rock Island Arsenal Museum. Located on Arsenal Island, this museum is the second oldest US Army museum and features exhibits on the island’s history and arsenal. After exploring the museum, walk around the island to see historic buildings, scenic views of the Mississippi River, and possibly spot some local wildlife.
