One standout cafe you can’t miss is Park Avenue Cafe, conveniently situated at 6th and Olive downtown, near Hotel Saint Louis. Park Avenue’s delectable gooey butter cake is available in various flavors, with the original being my favorite. In addition to their mouthwatering treats, they also serve outstanding coffee. Park Avenue is a renowned roaster and supplies beans to numerous other local coffee shops, ensuring a delicious cup of joe all over town. You can check out one of the other coffee shops in St. Louis.

The Living Room is a charming indoor/ outdoor cafe located in the Maplewood neighborhood of Saint Louis. This vegan-friendly spot is near a park where individuals often practice tai chi and yoga. I sampled a beet Reuben, which was flavorful, though I would not order it again. Their coffees are delicious and inventive, and the staff and patrons are exceptionally friendly. If I ever get back to the city, I would eagerly return and try something else from their expansive menu.

La Finca Coffee
La Finca Coffee, located in a historic storefront cafe in Eureka on Route 66, offers a delightful chance to experience the charm of this small town just outside of Saint Louis. This dedicated coffee roaster’s heart lies with Colombian coffee beans, and you can take their passion home with you through wholesale coffee bean purchases, available both in-store and online. The cafe itself boasts a captivating dark decor, adorned with a beautifully decorated ceiling and an expansive menu board meticulously chalked with a myriad of tea and coffee beverage options.

Kaldi’s on Skinker has long been a cherished gathering spot in St. Louis. It attracts coffee enthusiasts, food lovers, and students in search of the perfect cup of coffee, light snacks, and reliable Wi-Fi. the cafe was once known as Kayak’s Coffee. This cafe boasts a distinctive rustic decor and a mountain-inspired ambiance. It features elements such as deer antlers, river rock accents, earthy tones, lofty ceilings, ample natural light, and inviting seating arrangements. Situated at the junction of Skinker Avenue and Forest Park Parkway. It’s just north of Forest Park and the lively Washington University community, surrounded by the natural beauty of Forest Park and the vibrant spirit of The Loop.
