Table of Contents Overview of E-World Amusement Park Main Attractions and Themed Plazas Thrilling Rides and Entertainment The Iconic Daegu Tower Tips for Visiting E-World E-World puts the Color in Colorful Daegu. This vibrant park in the heart of Daegu combines European-style architecture, captivating light displays, and lush floral arrangements. Originally remodeled around the Daegu Tower in March 1995, E-World brings together a waterfall, artistic fountains, themed exhibition halls, live performance spaces, and an assortment of dining options. The park’s major plazas each have unique themes: the Entry Plaza welcomes visitors at the entrance, while Central Plaza invites everyone to gather. Children’s Plaza delights the young with a playful playground, and Young Town Plaza is packed with thrilling rides for all ages. With 31 rides in total, including the popular skyway with its panoramic view of the entire park, E-World ensures every corner is alive with color and excitement. The iconic Daegu Tower, standing over 200 meters, is visible from nearly every point in the park and from various spots across Daegu. Located atop Duryu Mountain in Duryu-Dong, Dalseo-Gu, the Daegu Tower houses restaurants, a museum, and an indoor ice skating rink, enhancing the colorful energy of E-World and Daegu itself. Made for Selfie Sticks One of the first things you’ll notice is that many people carry camera stands and selfie sticks. The park is set up to facilitate a lot of little vignettes, and the kids love them. I watched them flit from one to the next in rank and file. It wouldn’t have mattered except that they kept photobombing my selfies. Woobang Tower The Ranger has two boats that swing back and forth and eventually go upside down. Without realizing it, I had walked up the hill to the Tower. The only ride I was interested in was the Skyway, and I rode it back down the hill. It was the perfect way to end the night and get a fantastic photo of the park and the surrounding city. You can get a great aerial view of the entire park, including the Americana, a roller coaster with a loop de loop that does a few 360s and jerks you through many fast corners.
