I went to my first WITS summit during the pandemic when none of us were traveling and it was a life changing event. Yes, I enjoyed all the speakers and workshops. And I definitely benefited from the beginner bootcamp. But most of all, I made. some life long friends, some that I have since met in person, that have become an integral part of my daily life. Attendees new to digital content creation can gain an introduction through an additional half-day of programming.

But for me, the WITS Utah Travel Creator Summit (or Women in Travel Summit) is more than the foremost event for the travel industry’s top marketing professionals, creative entrepreneurs, and influencers. It’s a gathering where travel lovers converge to explore future innovations, foster dynamic collaborations, and impact global travel. We begin as colleagues and potential collaborators and leave as friends. Everyone, regardless of gender, yes guys and non binaries too, is welcome to join us in engaging conversations about uplifting women and underrepresented creators (BIPOC), as well as addressing current issues in the travel landscape like sustainability, overtourism, and cultural appropriation.

Friday and Sunday will take place at our main conference hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Saturday is destined to be an extraordinary day in Summit County and the enchanting town of Park City. How Much Does the Summit Cost?
I’m not going to lie, it’s not cheap. I just booked my flight from Chicago to Salt Lake City for $350 So now I can go ahead and reserve my ticket to the summit. A creator member ticket gets you into all the events for $319 ( includes a $80 discount). I plan to stay at the event venue, so I won’t need a car. The majority of the events will take place at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek. We are a platinum member with Bonvoy, so I plan to use points. WITS has blocked off standard rooms starting at $169 + taxes per night.
