Enjoying the Dinner Cruise Around Tokyo Bay
The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and there was live music in every dining room and the upstairs lounge. We enjoyed our window seat, which offered a fantastic view of the lovely bridges, harbor businesses, and skyline. We watched planes coming in overhead to Haneda Airport. The lights were dimmed at specific times to ensure great views of the movie being played just outside our windows. There was live music in every dining room and the upstairs lounge.

Lunch or Dinner?
There are many cruises available that include lunch or dinner so that customers can enjoy a meal on the water that leaves from Hinode Pier. These cruises usually take about two hours and make a round trip that ends at the departure point.
And while many of the staff did not speak English, this didn’t affect our experience in any way. This is an excellent way to introduce Tokyo to a first-time visitor or of escaping the hustle and bustle of the city to the ones who’ve been touring the massive city all day. You can view the city from the streets, from above and from below, the cruise gives you excellent sightseeing opportunities to see the iconic landmarks from yet another perspective… from the water.

After dinner, we were able to move freely about the yacht to enjoy the scenery from the top deck or the various lounges. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful. Being so far from the city allows you to truly take in the sights without the glare of the city lights.

How to get to Hinode Pier
Take Yamanote Line towards Shibuya/ Shinjuku, platform 5 for 3 stops to Shimbashi Station. Transfer to Yurikamome Line to Toyosu, platform 1,2 three stops to Hinode Station, and follow the signs to Hinode Pier.
