The staff at MyBanLao goes above and beyond to cater to guests’ needs. The hotel offers a unique shuttle service for city exploration, airport transfers, and more. Special commendation goes to the receptionist who assisted in arranging tours and coordinating transportation – his invaluable assistance left a lasting impression.

Comfort and Technology

The rooms at MyBanLao are well-equipped and designed for comfort because attention to detail is clearly a priority. For example, each one includes an iPad for entertainment and a mosquito repellent machine. As a result, even the shower stands out with water pressure that feels like a jacuzzi. The high-tech lighting adds a touch of sophistication to the overall experience, setting MyBanLao apart from other accommodations in town.

However, I would like to offer a word of caution about misleading ratings on booking platforms. As a result, many places claiming four stars fall short of expectations. MyBanLao, however, stands out for its excellent location, impeccable service, and aesthetic appeal. The pool access room, in particular, was a dreamy retreat. Don’t forget to tip – it may be small money to us, but it makes a significant difference to the hardworking staff.

Swimming Pool and Gym

While the swimming pool is undoubtedly a highlight, it might not be the most suitable option for children due to its depth. Nevertheless, it captivates visitors with its immense beauty, commanding a significant portion of the interior courtyard and featuring private areas and a charming bridge. Serving as a significant Insta-worthy spot at MyBanLao, the pool offers a refreshing retreat despite its depth. So, whether you prefer doing laps or lounging in a submerged lawn chair, you can’t go wrong.

The small MyBanLao Gym is next to the big, blue-tiled pool. However, it has everything you need for a full workout. So, you won’t have to miss your workouts while you’re in Luang Prabang.

Specializing in authentic French desserts, the cafe exudes Parisian charm with a meticulously crafted pastries menu. Additionally, Bistro 1960 is a multi-level dining experience within the hotel, where Asian-fusion-inspired dishes are served in a beautifully air-conditioned space. Cafe 1960 and Bistro 1960 offer a diverse culinary journey at MyBanLao.

MyBanLao Spa

The MyBanLao Spa is a full-service spa haven of relaxation and rejuvenation. The spa offers a comprehensive range of wellness services to pamper the mind, body, and soul. Historical Significance

MyBanLao is not just a luxury hotel; it has a rich history. The property, once home to General Ouane Rattikone, played a crucial role during the secret war of the 1960s. The hotel has transformed from a significant historical site to a modern hotel. The eco-friendly establishment is a testament to its commitment to preserving heritage. MyBanLao’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its use of solar panels and electric vehicles, contributing to a greener environment. The hotel also serves as a sanctuary for endangered turtles and tortoises, emphasizing the importance of ecological conservation.
